I'm 38, I work for Defence in health research. I had 6 years in the military after I left school and served overseas ...lucky me.

From 5 to 11 years of age I was a victim of child sexual assault at the hands of our local Baptist Church's Boys Brigade Troop leader. My experiences both as a child and as a soldier have eventually led to a major breakdown at age 35, and the resulting diagnoses of PTSD & Borderline Personality Disorder. Depression is a symptom of both of these diagnoses.

I am a recovered (22mths sober) drug & alcohol addict.

I have a loving Wife, a cockatiel who is part terrorist, a heap of over-fed tropical fish, and a 77kg Mastiff who looks just like me.....!
