I'm 21 & live in Brisbane. My name is Joshua Cocks. I enjoy surfing, making music & laying about in my hammock. Other things I like are trekking & business economics.

I'm a compliance administrator. I'm also a drummer in the band Farechild. It's a local Brisbane band made up of three Brisbane boys.

I had a tough upbringing that I don't enjoy talking about. The last four years I've worked hard to get ontop of my severe depression & life's general challenges. Right now I enjoy a balanced lifestyle that I've worked hard to achieve. Family, Friends, Home, Finance, Music, Trekking, Surf.

My depression still comes back. If I don't take my medication I last about four days before severe symptoms return. However, with all these good things about the healing process has begun.

I like depnet as people here appreciate how hard it is to overcome chronic depression. They understand how debilitating the disease is & how hard it is to defeat it. Just having people empathise alone is a huge support. Thanks to you all :D
