A testing day/night at work

A page in the diary "To sing freely..."
Written by chordsinger Tuesday, 9 March 2010 17:29

Started on the upgrade 2000 - didn't finish until 0830 today. Slept from 1000 to 1530. Feel absolutely whacked.

Really wish my wife was home so I could have some sympathy!

I need to be very careful not to get sick with the stress of last week and now work being so busy. That means eating regularly, and having fresh fruit and veges.

Getting to sleep tonight will be easy if I be calm and stay up a little later. I can't expect to go to bed at 2100!

Must do that positive mantra:

Five things to be grateful for:
1) My colleagues and I found the issue at work with a fix on the way,
2) My wife really cares,
3) We live in a free and wonderful country (Australia),
4) I will get to ride my bike tomorrow, and
5) I'm fit and healthy for my age.

Bye for now - deppie HUGZ as always!

Bob

Hi CS
You know exactly how to stay above water - ie eating healthy food, seeking out the positives and knowing when you need to be careful. I have said it before, you are an inspiration. You obviously have a wonderful wife...you are indeed blessed. Better still, you don't take your blessings for granted. Plus, you give good advice on this site. You are a great person, I just know it!
I care

Bob, you and your greatful lists are very encouraging and inspirational. The times I have my worst crashes are after I have been very busy and when I am most tired. I really, really hope you can factor in some chill out time. Look after yourself.
