Why?

A page in the diary "What am I doing wrong?"

We've all asked this question from a very young age!
Why is it that I have a comfortable lifestyle and don't want for anything (except a million bucks) and I am not happy? I've been told I'm a cynic that I look at the negative things in life instead of the positive. I don't think I would call it being negative, but more down to earth having experienced the way my life has been. I try to change my lifestyle but my brain won't follow me!!!

Kaaren,

It really does take a lot of practise to realise and follow a path that makes happiness possible. Even a million bucks won't really make us happy if there is not a point in the day that you can say life is good.

I often try to say to myself that I'm better off than Kerry Packer's billions ...I can walk down the street with out fear of my privacy being invaded, and I have better health than Kerry ever had in his life.

Have a great evening!

Bob

Counselling might help you determine what needs you have which are not being met. A personality assessment could be invaluable. And it is good being comfortable, it is a good take off point.
Good luck.
