Compartmentalized
Split into so many
Microcosms
They say she lived a good life
A long life .
But what has longevity
To do with quality
She was a child
A teenager
A lover A wife
A mother
A friend
As she grew and became
This ending
She touched people along the way
She felt love
And fear and pain
Joy and sadness
Passion and lust
Yet all that remains is the shell
Of what once was
And never can be again.
