Until recently I hadn't been feeling so well, mainly physically rather than mentally.

I had diarrhea at one stage, also vomitted about 3 times during that week. Also had serious sleep problems (not being able to get a good rest) and also lost my appetite and as a result lost a significant amount of weight.

I did see my GP about these issues I've been having and she prescribed me with a sleeping medication, only a small dose though which I took for a week, and it helped with the sleep.

Yesterday I saw my psychiatrist and she said that maybe I had actually vomitted my medication which may have affected the mental health to some extent, which would've explained why I've been thinking about so many things lately and why I had problems sleeping.

Things appear to be better now though, and I will have a blood test on tuesday to test a number of things, hopefully the results will turn out normal, at the moment most concerned about my sugar levels apparently they may be high.

Anyway, lately I've gotten my appetite back, so I've been eating heaps, doesn't help that Chinese New Year celebrations were recent and that there's been lots of good food around lately as a result of it. Ah well...I'll try my best to lose the weight I've gained as I'm still somewhat overweight.

Moving on, I figured I should update my job search progress. I had passed two interviews for the traineeship position I had applied for, also went to a manual handling training session for the manual handling test which I have to pass to get the job. I've been practising but not very much....been somewhat slack about that.

Sorry you have been unwell of recent times and had poor sleep. Know what that one is like.

Good that you went to the gp and got some sleepers to help you sleep. It is a possibility your psych is right about the vommitting of medication. I know I do it ocassionally with the lap band and when I am in hospital they won't give me another dose of the meds in case some of them have gotten into my blood system - highly unlikely when you vomit them straight after taking them.

Good luck with the blood tests. I have to have some when I get the courage up to face the blood/needle.

Good on you for getting through the second interview for the job. That is great news. Need to practise your lifting so you get the job.

Go a-Leng!!!
