i found 'em!!

for those of you who remember i had two missing books last time i wrote an entry in daydreamer. as the headline for this entry says, 'i found 'em!!' which is sugoi which means awesome in Japanese from what i learn from watching anime anyway...

guess where they were? well...they weren't in the drawers but underneath them. somehow they had fallen through in the back and plopped onto the floor. i had to take my drawers out to get them! but i'm just so relieved!

now i can type up and upload my precious fanfiction and i just managed to finish the essay before the due date for accounting. phew!

as for the anime convention i had overall a good time. as for responsibilities...i didn't have that many. i helped out with a screening of an anime called abenobashi by setting it to play and then i got to watch it, which was cool as i hadn't seen it before. it was quite funny at parts and the main girl character is quite pretty when she looks normal.

i also helped with the barbeque that was being sold. and got a free sausage while i was at it. while i wasn't on duty to do anything i went to check out other screenings of of anime as well as the fanart and fanfiction section. out of all the entries for the fanfiction competition only four went on display for people to read and vote for the best one. turns out that my entry just happened to be one of them. which was pretty cool! i don't think i won though because i never got any feedback from the organisers of it. ah well...didn't cost anything to enter so doesn't matter.

there was lots of people in cosplay(which is dressing up as characters) from all sorts of anime, it was pretty cool. i only went on the saturday though because i had to do schoolwork on the sunday. it's a shame too as i heard later that there was lots of good cosplay on sunday too. can't be helped.

at least from it all i got a free t-shirt and had free entry and a free showbag which made volunteering all worthwhile!

i feel better just writing about the good memories!

(^_^)v ja!
