One special thing

Ok, First of all I think I should mention some bad news, I failed both the subjects I was doing at uni in the last semester. I'll be seeing someone at uni to ask what my next course of action should be. I'm disappointed, but because I kinda expected to fail I'm not as upset as I could be by it.

Anyway, I've been given the task of writing down and doing something special that would feel good. I think I already have sort of been doing this through going to the aquatic centre, especially the yoga, I feel good after doing that every time.

As for something special I think I'll draw a nice picture and put some nice instrumental music on in the background.

hi a-Leng,

It is really great that you are not taking the failed subjects too badly. They are only subjects after all, and there are more where they came from. That's just what we people wioth depression have to do all the time - fall down, then get back up again with as much good grace as we can muster - which you have demonstrated beautifully.
I love your special thing to do. Can I steal it? I'm going to do that too, as soon as I can.
I hope you have a good day tomorrow too,
Kinf regards, alexandra

Hi a-Leng,

I am glad to see you are already looking at the alternatives for your failed subjects. I am sure that there will be something that can be done to help you. And being positive about it is also good.

Your special thing sounds great.. nice and relaxing too.. just what is needed.

Hope you have a nice week. Stay focused and have fun.

A-leng.
I don't know how you feel about your education, but when I was 28 I left Uni for a well paying job. I was 16 gredits only off my Degree. Thought I'd go back. Worked, parented and did other stuff...time passed and I never thought I couldn't just pick it up again but yes, that's the case. And I'm not prepared to start over
but I do realise the profound effect that has had on my life and my income. And my status perhaps. Think about it for yourself. My education was only ever for me..though my life would have been very different if I had completed my degree.
