I think things are getting better

Lately there has been some tension in the family but its starting to settle.

As for myself, I managed to pass the supplementary assessment I did, which is great because I don't need to repeat that subject.

Once again I failed an assignment for one of this semester's subjects...I was expecting a fail though. I just hope to be able to make up for it with the rest of the assessments.

TAFE studies are going well, as far as I can see, its so different from uni, and in a way a pleasant change. There's going to be a break from TAFE coming up which I'm looking forward to, and I've even done my part with organising work experience. I'll be doing it at a special school for children and young people with disabilities. I already had my induction, and I look forward to it, I just hope I manage to do a good job.

So at the moment, things seem ok.

Congatulations on passing your supplementary assessment. Well done a-leng. Good to hear that you are going well.

I am also struggling to pass uni - mostly due to extremely low motivation. I find it hard to get started, ask for extensions, or submit what I perceive as a poor effort. Are your problems similar?

I am studying to be a primary school teacher & enrolled in a prac in a special school a couple of years ago. I expected to be working with children with disabilities, but instead I was in a special school for children with behaviour problems - especially ones who couldn't control their anger & lashed out at their teacher or other students. I really enjoyed that placement. I hope you enjoy yours - I'd love to hear your stories of it.

Family relations can tips us up but if everyone has a united front then things usually turn out ok. I'm glad your family situation is settling.

Congrats on successfully completing your supp. assessment.

Your display of perseverance will one day be rewarded so keep pressing on as i know you are no doubt doing.

i hope you enjoy your time at your work experience.
