Aside from being stressed because I leave things to the last minute, I believe that my meds are mostly working!

I still get tired at totally innapropriate times and have a hard time falling asleep at night, but most of my other sadness is purely situational, and doesnt last longer than it should!

I've just been visualising the end of the year, and how great it will be to be away from school. I am also motivated to study!! I havent been motivated to study all year!!

I can see that I do have things to look forward to! Setting up my school holidays so that I'm away both weeks, one for leisure (volunteering at a kids camp for disadvantaged youths) and the other for school (study camp! woot!), where I absolutely WILL NOT be able to do anything else while I'm there has really helped my morale.

I've also been accepted to go along with the World Vision youth section of NSW to go to Canberra in November and campaign for childrens rights. I cant wait!

I also discovered that since my rankings are pretty good, I have a chance to get a good enough UAI to get into the Uni i want to go to, with all my bonus points! All I have to do is study for the HSC exams and I'll be good to go!

Also the uni I want to go to has this program for young people like me who want to become actively involved in humanitarian type projects!! which is just fantastic and makes me not be able to wait to start my degree.

All I had to do was get through the rough patch of the year, and I did! Three more assessments to go until I'm freeeeeeeeee!
=)
and hows everyone else going?

You're doing the Trek Against Trafficking? That's so awesome. I'm a member of VGen here in Victoria, have been for 4 and a bit years, but I don't think I can go on the Trek cause of stupid DBT rules keeping me in Melbourne :( I hope you have a great time though. I went on a similar thing in 2005 where we all went to Canberra to campaign for Make Poverty History, it was such an awesome experience.

I'm glad to hear everything is starting to come together for you. Good luck with your HSC!
