Today, I am depressed. I cant be bothered to write, thats when I know that its affecting me.

Why is it affecting me again, sertraline is supposed to make it better- yes I know it doesn't always work etc and whatever, but ive been on it for 4 weeks, and it HAS been working...

I am still pretty new to all this --> 7 months ish now

Major Depression and Panic Disorder with Agoraphobia is what i'm being treated for...

So yeah, here I am

Thank you for the name of another forum... extra support networks are good for helping with recovery...

Whether a person has had depression for many years or many months... it is still a difficult illness to manage... filled with highs and lows... as we all know... you have a diagnosis and that is the start of the way forward...

You may need to have your dosage increased or medication changed. I had a similar experience when I first started treatment. I had noticeable improvement over the first four weeks then started to bottom out again. My doctor increased my dosage and I was back on track within a couple weeks.

Thanks for the new internet site as we all need different support networks. I feel for you with your illnesses - I have them as well as several others. It will possibly take some time for the meds to kick in if you have just started it.
