Well I am still hanging in there.
It was nice to get comments from others with support, Thanks!!!!
I am down to half a tablet today and tomorrow, then the weekend no pills for 4 days, then start the new medication.
Fear starts to creep in, will this work, will I go crazy?
I am trying to take one hour at a time.
Making cards, to keep my mind off it.
I am treating the symptoms with strong panadeine and lots of water.
Saying for today: WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH THE TOUGH GET GOING.

Stay strong and hopefully the side effects will stop once you get on the new meds. If things are really bad, speak to your doctor/see your doctor.

Go Sal!!!

Hang in there, Salbon. I just went through something similar switching meds. If the withdrawal symptoms are unbearable you may need to take a more gradual approach to getting off the old med. My doctor just took me off of Paxil and wanted me to taper off the dosage over the course of two weeks before starting the new med. Well, the withdrawal was so awful I had to go back on the Paxil and gradually step down the dosage over the course of two months. I still had some of the withdrawal symptoms but they were not nearly as bad. You may need to take a similar approach. Of course, talk to your doctor about it first.
