I'm writing this down for future reference, and because I have a bit of a thing about making lists. So first up is:
Things that make me happy:
-Spending time with my Mum, Dad, sisters, and my niece.
- Seeing pregnant ladies, babies and young children. (Makes me smile - I'm clucky as hell)
-Animals (I got to the pet shop just to see the kittens, and rabbits, and birds...).
-Feeling accomplished (like finishing assignments, managing my study, even just doing the cleaning! None of which is happening lately)
-Spending time with friends
-Reading (unfortunately I haven't been able to concentrate long enough for this :()
-Bubble baths

And the next:
Happiest times of my life:
-Being awarded Dux of my primary school when I was twelve. (I cried)
-The nights I used to spend with my high school friends. We'd just sit around a fire and talk and talk all night.
-Meeting my boyfriend, and the day he asked me out.
-The year 10 formal
-Going to the aquarium :P, I love the aquarium.
-The birth of my niece (I was lucky enough to be present, and to support my twin sister through the whole thing)
-Finishing my HSC, graduating from high school.
-The year 12 formal
-The week my boyfriend took me to an island resort in Queensland. (told you he spoils me)
-Getting accepted into university.
-Getting accepted into an overseas volunteer program (did I mention I'm going to Costa Rica in January?!)

So, as soon as I finish my exams at uni (in the next month),
I'm going to start reading again (Dad bought me the Ghormenghast novels),
I'm going to see my sisters as much as I can,
babysit my niece for a day (and take her to the aquarium!),
and clean my damn room!

Hah, that felt good.

Viv

You have got the idea - think of the things that make you happy and follow through with those things. I wish you luck to getting the things you want done after your exams.

Go Viv!!!

Hey Viv,

Wow your diary entry is so positive and uplifting. Sometimes we need to stop and remember the things that have put a smile on our dial in the past and it can help lift the depression. You've got me thinking now.

Well done,

Luv Karen xxx

oh and p.s. your boyfriend does spoil you - lucky girl!
