I am feeling a lot calmer today. Although the problems that caused me to explode during the week will take time to fix. I did nearly all my housework today and wrote it all down as I did it. I felt really good about myself, that I acheived so much today, not like the rest of the week where I did nothing. Mind you no-one else in my household did anything to help.Tomorrow I will sit back and do nothing again cause it is mother's day and I deserve to be pampered!
Hubby didn't drink today but lazed around the house feeling unmotivated. He can't get motivated unless he can have a drink and when he does he gets drunk and it is one of our, sorry, my problems, because I can't stand it. I have 3 boys and I don't want them growing up thinking that the ONLY way to relax on the weekends or get anything done is to get druk while they are doing it.Don't get me wrong, I love a drink just as much as anyone but I can stop at a couple and I don't drink on my own. If I do get drunk it is at a party or when we have friends over for a BBQ. Sorry, getting off track

Lozza

Know what it is like to have an alcoholic parent and the effects it has on you as you grow up - I don't drink very often - partly because of the meds and partly because I have seen the consequences of it and I would rather not drink and remember the party I am at/event I am at than be incoherent and the life of the party for the wrong reasons.

Happy Mother's Day. Great you got the cleaning done and have Mother's Day as your day/for you and the kids if hubby won't socialise with you all.

Go Lozza!!!
