Dog days

I took my dog down to the school oval, threw a tennis ball until she was tired out by it all, and then we lay on the grass together - on our backs, looking up at the clouds. I felt a bit like a kid again.
The sky changed from blue with clouds, to grey. The wind picked up a bit and then...then it was all over. We were rained on!
