She made things happen

A page in the diary "surprise surprise"
Written by g463 12. Apr 2008 10:59 AM

You know, I'm not in a morbid frame of mind, but since today I'm going on a road-trip to Sydney to buy a drumkit for a disadvantaged kid, I was thinking about what I do.

That led me to consider what I'd like the stonemasons to carve out on my headstone when I'm no longer in this body. I decided that I'd like it to be "she made things happen".

(A close 2nd for the headstone was "this was one thing she couldn't fix").

G

Good of you to be helping a disadvantaged child. That is very generous.

You should have She was a generous soul put on that stone.

Go G!!!

Thx for your comment on my post! : ))

Yep- you make things happen for yourself as well- it really works, and it's not brushing off the issue by only doing things for other people [which is lovely, but only partly benefits YOU!].
Make a new friend today, have coffee with a perfect stranger at a cafe! Say hello to a mentally disturbed person begging in the Mall! They LOVE to be talked to!
Cheers
