Validation
about a
situation
is very important
to me
is it becos
of the BPD/MUD
that I do not know
a part of
me thinks so
I don't like
the idea
that things
quiet often
have to be seen
or witnessed
in order to
be believed
as to me it shows
no respect
when somebody
has to always
be around to
inspect
in a way
and yeah
it can crumble
a day
when all you want is someone
to validate
what you've got to say.

Hi All, I'm new to all this so I thought I'd take a risk and share a poem I wrote tonight.
Nothing Ventured Nothing Gained thats what they say.
I read your Diaries often and it helps alot.
So thank you for a GREAT website.
And, CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL for getting through another day!
With Warmth and Excitement, susiewoozie

Susiewoozie

Welcome to Depnet - and validation is so important and yes sometimes we feel invalidated by others when we are trying to deal with our illness...

take care
