I woke up late this morning and had a class which I did not feel like attending and missed it. It is so hard to study in depression especially when your concentration is too low and your comprehension levels drop down. Sometimes you feel that even the easiest of the statement is difficult to understand. And here we have to study complex business strategies and plans in business administration course. I feel I very much act on impulse as depression makes you do so. Sometimes I find it so hard to push myself and give up to my conscience.Do any of you know how to improve concentration and comprehension level. I think excercising and meditation helps to some extent but if you have other ways to improve kindly let me know.I find this website a heaven as it makes me feel very secure and it makes me feel that I am not alone. I want to meet people here want to talk to them and share problems that we deppies often have.Thankyou everyone for the support. care and love. May God bless you all. Have a nice day.

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy is one of the best ways to improve concentration and gives you strategies you can apply to help with the depression...

Try not to miss too much Uni because it is so hard to catch up and puts more pressure on you which you do not need...

take care...

Studying and depression are certainly not a good mix - been there done that. Don't miss too much uni as that will make you feel worse and catching up is hard. Get help with your student services people and reigster as having a disability and hopefully they can help you with your assignments/exams. They do here - only guessing such services exist there.

Go Omar!!!
