My classes have started this week and I have to go to uni four times a week that means I have to go out. Their is some structure in life now. I woke up late today but after having a cup of tea and breakfast I started studying and I tried to concentrate hard and understand what I was studying. I have to keep that doig very consistently if I am to get through in this semester and I will do it.This semester is only for two months than I will be done with my bachelors degree than I have to start Masters program that is MBA. It took so long to get through bachelors because of relapses ups and downs but I am somewhat glad that atleast I made it literally crawling. Takecare everyone.

Wow omar, you should be so proud of yourself that you have actually attained your bachelors and are now striving for your masters. This is from someone that did the typing course in year 12 instead of doing "matric", but at the same time I can't tell you how invaluable learning to type has become to me and my life lol!!

I am always envious of people who have made the decision to further their education and have gone on to uni. I'm 40 years old now and for the last 10 years all I've wished to be was a Doctor. Think I had the smarts to do it, but my little capitalist piggie came in and at the end of school I'd had enough and just wanted to be earning money. I took the first job that came along as a secretary, but it did have it's pay off though, I bought own my own 2 bedroom unit 5 minutes from town by the turn of my 22nd birthday, which was quite an accomplishment, but now I'm 40 and I have 20/20 vision in hindsight, geez I wish I'd done matric, gone to uni and become a doctor. It's just that it wasn't the done thing in my family... no-one had ever been to uni and I plan to change that with my own children (2 boys 9 & 7 at present).

So good luck with your Masters, I'm envious to say the least!! Hey, but at least I can touch type, which is such a great thing to have these days!!

All the best,

Karen

Congratulations. I can't imagine studying and meeting deadlines while in my present condition.

Omar

I know what you mean by taking a long time to complete a bachelors degree - mine took 9 years due to work commitements and health issues. Good on you to have it in two months and then start a MBA. What are you majoring in??

Go Omar!!!

Hi,

It's really encouraging to read what you have wrote because I am planning to return to uni to complete my psychology degree. Having depression and studying is such a tug a war and the pressure scares me. But I see that you have been able to succeed despite your personal struggles.

Well done, it's hard to keep positive and clear minded however it is great to see you are coping and trying your very best. It makes me more confident about going back to uni.

You really are moving forward!
