Hey all,

Had my first day at my new job today, not as bad as i thought it would be, and that's saying something!!!
I have a lot to learn as it is a completely different industry to what i am used to, but i have to cope or lose my job i suppose.

My back is still hurting like hell, but am filling myself with pain killers to get through the days. There doesn't seem like there is anything else i can do to help it, so this is my life right now.

All in all, i think i did ok, but it was only one day.
Hubby is also home right now so this takes the pressure off at home, but i know that won't last.

Anyway, that is as good as it gets right now, not too bad though i thought.

Great to hear your survived the first day of your job and you realise you have lots to learn.

Have you tried a chiropractor or accupunture for your pain - believe me the pain killers are not meant to be taken daily. Something alternate may be just what the hip and back need.

Nouse,

As I told you things will be alright. I am so happy that you have gotten through the first day. It is always the hardest.Dont go stressing about anything, as you have shown that despite back pain, you have taken your biggest step in this new job, and that was just turning up.
Keep up the great work Hun and am here for you always.
