My family have gone out for dinner for Mothers Day.. I am feeling really flat.. part of me wanted to go and part of me didnt.. I stayed at home.

I said to my Mum Id like to take her out for lunch or morning tea.. and she said well see how you feel.

My folks have been away since Wednesday, and I find that that is the trigger for me going into a low mood.

I am going to mention this to my counsellor and also get some other type of treatment either Breath Work or Kinesiology to help me get to the root cause of some of my issues..

I want to be well, and not avoid social activity and living my life in general..

You have done well... amazingly good insight into some of the issue for low mood... keep looking for the underlying causes... and it is a good strategy to talk to your therapist about this...

good luck with you investigation

take care

Blue

I can tell you, I never liked it when my parents went away - always scared/didn't sleep well and this is now with me as a wife/one suffering from mental illness.

It is good you have recognised it as a trigger and I hope you get to work this week. Morning tea or lunch with your mum sound like a nice way to spend your time together.

Have a good week.

Go Blue!!!
