A page in the diary "Meandering Thoughts"

Well i have done it... I have uploaded a copy of my beautiful boy cat Gus... it is in the gallery... just waiting for the moderators to approve him...

At the moment my boy is lying on the floor next to me... sleeping... he makes me smile... sometimes I even laugh as he hoons up the hallway into the room and back down again... he is such a card...

it is strange how our pets help us cope with the day to day... well maybe not so strange... all my cats and one dog have been essential to me keeping going... they have made me think twice when i get suicidal... i know I am bad when caring for them doesn't matter to me more than dying...

So many times they have brought me back from the brink...

I remember each one of them... they are etched in my memory... Gus and the stray SkinnyLatte are my boys...

Happy cat day!!! and dogs are cool too...

take care

Hi cate,

Thank you for your comment to my diary entry, it did make a lot of sense and I gained a lot from it. I will just sit back and let things take their course and stop trying to overthink things too much.

Animals really make a house a home don't they? I just love it when my two cats decide it's silly time and they start chasing each other around. Doesn't happen so often now the older boy is 13, but he still has a bit of kitten left in him sometimes and it's a joy to watch.

Can't wait to see your picture in the gallery.

Fellow cat lover (and dog's are OK too)

Cate, I am looking forward to seeing King Gus's photo in the Gallery.
I have also submitted a pic of my Harley when he was a wee kitten.
Pets are so precious - I know I wouldn't survive without them.
Sending you love, light & hope.

You're so right, pets are so amazing. I have two cats and a dog, I don't know what I would do without them. When I go into hospital they are what I miss most - the cuddles and the love and laughing at their antics.

Cate

No need to apologise to me. I can see your point/question and understood it was not offensive because when I wrote my diary, hubby and I hadn't really spoken very much about it but did when we were in bed, watching tv.

Go Cate!!!
