Father spent 4 hours with his son Saturday. Contact service lady suggested to him that it would be better for our son if he travelled here to see him thru contact service in my area. He Flatly Refused and told her No! Im not doing that!

He is sooo selfish only thinking of whats best for him and not our Son. I am going to have to fight him on that one as I am thinking about whats best for our son. The contact lady even said to him but there's more you can do with your son in that area and he still said No! Im not doing it!

Thankyou to all of you that read and commented on my last post. Court in two weeks will keep you posted lol!.

Take Care all

Hi Tricia,

Yeh I can see what you mean about he does it one time and me the next, however its costing me $20 in fuel and....bubs is starting to get whiney on the way back and with the weather warming up its going to be uncomfortable for him to be sitting in a car for two hours. I have done it for 3 months straight and the fact that he's not helping to support his son is an issue too. Thanx for your comment. it all helps.

(((((hugs)))))

There is no way you have been difficult in any of this and if this man genuinely wants to see his Son he'll travel. I know you Cherry and I know you are a co-operative person who has bent over backwards to survive this situation and accomodate everyone's needs. Let him travel, you Parent the rest of the time so where does he get off????? I am sorry he is such a mongrel, truly sorry.

Cherry

Stick to your guns and make him do some driving given he only sees bubs 4 hours at a time.

Good luck with court.

Go Cherry!!!

Cherry the court usaully looks at the age of the child, and travel distances. You mind find that they will make it one time you travel the next time he travels.Have you been to court ordered meditation yet if not thats what the court usually orders to work out whats best for the child. You should contact csa to see where they at with child support.
