Firstly - so sorry Jess - feel really bad about missing dinner tonight - you are going through so much and you organise this and I can't even bloody make it out of the house cause I'm freaking out 'cause my little boy is sick. Not that I'm with him, he's with his dad. But I'm sitting here freaking out none the less.
And the thing is - it's KNOWN illness - it's an immunisation reaction - not even major - and I feel like he's going to die, or I am or the world is about to end (obviously this is a major point of anxiety for me :) )
And I really wanted to meet you all.
Big hugs and sorry's and hope you all had a wonderful time.
Take Care
HUGS
Avril

Dear psyche

These things happen - and you can pretty much be sure that you're the person who is feeling worst about the whole situation because you're busy beating yourself up and feeling guilty.

Relax - the first step is to drop the feelings of guilt and be allowing to yourself and be kind to yourself. It's not the end of the world, and you will have other opportunities.

Has your psychologist been teaching you CBT to help you rationalise things like your reaction to your little boy's immunisation, and also your feelings of guilt? It is a useful tool.

Love Kimberly
xoxo

Psyche

Kids as you know can have/have no reaction to injections. Hope he gets better and you're better and can catch up with the Melbourne crew soon.

Go Psyche!!!
