So tired. Reduced my valium a few days ago, also reducing panadine and immodium and feel so sick every night. Every night I feel nauseous and nervous and stressed and scared. Need to do the valium more gradually than i started with according to what I've read but I need to get off these extra meds.
Sigh - winge, winge winge.
Sorry everyone

Psyche

From what I have read, valium is the hardest med to come off so please do it with the doctor's knowledge. Not sure what size you have, but I have 5 mg and it is easy enough to cut the tablets in half if you have gone too fast. Sounds like you still need the valium because of the anxiety. Nothing wrong with having additional meds for this reason - to help when you are anxious/need calming down. Does the doctor know you are doing this - good if they do but not so unless they are made aware. Coming off meds is hard and you need your doctor to help/support you through this time. My psychiatrist does my meds when I am admitted to hospital to make sure I am okay/nurses watching over me if I need help/talk/sick from the change.
