Apologised to solicitor and hope she will help me with my super!!

Migraines, meds and sleep. Hubby was home from work when I went downstairs to get my meds - he had a very bad night and was watching a movie when I walked down the stairs. Now that this case has been settled, I am hoping the migraines now might stop/reduce - guess it won't happen until I have results of my superannuation claim but I am hoping soomer or later they will stop/get better and I will be able to get out in the mornings.

I have been thinking about my solicitor and how horrible I was to her in regards to get me a settlement and not having to go to court where I could have got a better settlement or lost my house. Yesterday I emailed my solicitor to find out if she will still be part of my legal team for my superannuation assessment but she has not replied. Yesterday I also emailed her and apologised to her for the way I was - bouncing backwards and forwards with emails about offers/loosing the house and then accusing her of not taking a question as a question - I still stand by that statement but I will let it go for peace and quiet.

Had another doona day today. I don't know why I am so tired but I slept alot today. Hubby went to work again tonight and he asked me when I was going to tell Queen Bee about the settlement - am going to wait until I get a reply to my email about how the costs have been determined and what my payouts will be to solicitor and barrister. I know how much I owe Queen Bee so it will probably get paid from my settlement. I think hubby came home early as he is worried about his tests on Monday but wouldn't tell me that when we got to bed. I couldn't sleep and it took ages for the migraine meds to work.

Lynda as I have previously said and from my own experience, if your solicitor can't get you higher money for your settlement, you need to go to another solicitor who specialises in your case and see if they can do better or instruct your solicitor to make an offer to the other party and see if the solicitor can get more money. Sometimes as I have learnt, it is best to take what is given to you because if it better than going to court and risk loosing everything you own.

Take Care All!!!
