Migraine, meds and sleep. Hubby was yelling and screaming on the phone and I couldn't get any sleep so I came down stairs and took the phone off him and hung up for him and told him to stop screaming as I can't sleep. Didn't work very well as he was still on the phone having a dandy time raising his voice. In the end I got up and had some lunch.

Had to go to the psychologist so we left and had my session with her - need to be more forceful with my solicitor about what I want in regards to the court case - settlement and not going to court - have to email her to get some information from her - what the counter offer was if there has been one. Psychologist and I did a positives/negatives on the court case and it is better for me to settle before going to court, especially as the member hearing the case is very conservative in his decisions.

After that we went and did some more shopping - I did the groceries and partner went to the bank. Came back out and found him and he came and we packed the car.

Then had a gp appointment - no discussion about my migraines/depression as it wasn't my regular gp - got a list of referals that I needed and am going to have a health assessment for my lap band and hope I will be able to see the dietician. The psychologist said that she thought I had lost weight.

The psychologist and I went through our usual things - except I forgot the wedding photos - m of h has them so I have to get them for my next appointment. She asked me if I was getting anything out of our sessions because I know the theory and know how to apply it but I don't do it. Given I have done the CBT course about 7 times, I think I would know the theory. She was stunned we were thinking about moving to Tassie - says I have a reason to clean the house for the move. Forgot to tell her we were on the market. She has another psychologist working with her - the woman who used to be in charge of the CBT course at the Belmont Hospital. It was great to see her as I didn't know where she had gone so now I may get a chance to see her when I see my psychologist.

We discussed my wedding, self harming - been doing it again tonight and I have got one wound bleeding and just been attacking my skin because it is dry and easy to get to/give me a rush, the fact that Queen Bee hasn't called me very much since we got married and she asked me how I felt about that - stunned, absolutely stunned, my visit to Toowoomba to see my sister and the fact she had me out of my comfort zone for the weekend. Perhaps we should have got married earlier and all the crap I have been going through since I lost my job, may not have happened. Hindsight, always good to have and wonder if it would be true or not.

Poor hubby had to put up with me self harming while we were watching Indianna Jones last night. I don't know how he copes with it but he does. Just tells me to stop doing it, then I start on my finger nails. Did them last week so they are slowly growing back - not ready to be bitten off yet!!!

Take Care All and I am sorry for the self harming but there is a warning.

I would appreciate it if you no longer commented on my diaries. This is nothing personal, I just do not think you understand me.

Again not intended to hurt you

take care

Hi Mrs Studying1,

Great that you caught up with an old psychologist from your past, whom you obviously had a rapport with and may have the chance of seeing again in the future.

Re the self harming, I've been there and done that. It comes and goes, sometimes going a whole year between episodes. But next time I feel like doing it i'm going to get a big red texta and just draw on myself and see how that goes. I can be as angry as I like and it won't be causing any long term damage. Saw someone recently who had done it in hospital right after I'd slicing myself up and thought that probably would have been a better option. So give it some thought.

All the best,

fly xxx
