Migraine, meds and finally some sleep. I was up for about two hours - on depnet reading/commenting to diaries because I couldn't sleep/meds had to kick in. When I went to bed again, boy did they kick in!!! Out to the world until lunch time.

NotHappy, I am sorry I thought you and other people were implying things about me. I know Cate suggested to you to write and it got me thinking too much about it and that it and people's comments seemed to be directed at me - that is the way I read the diary and comments. I have to learn not to be so paranoid and that I don't have to justify my actions/diary entries. Guess it is part of my mental illness the paranoia but when you read the comments and diary, you kind of think it is about you, even if it wasn't meant to be about you. As you have asked I will stay away again and hope you also respect my wish you stay away from me. I only commented because I thought people were having a go at me and I am sorry I thought that. You write what you like in your diaries as they are very thought provoking and that is what we need in depnet - thought, thinking about our situations.

Hubby is going to work again tonight and last nigt - 7 am this morning I had to wake him up to come to bed - he showered -yay so we both had a good sleep. I ended up putting the air on when I went to bed the second time and woke up toasting so I had to turn the air off. Hubby won't be home until either late tomorrow or Monday night as he has to take his parents to their monthly outing. Guess it means no shopping for me which is okay. He is staying at his parents until Monday night so that means I have to get through 2 nights by myself - not looking forward to that.

Can you victorians tell me where wesburn/westburn is. My friends from Tassie are thinking of moving there as the cost of living in tassie has increased to much and I have no idea where it is in relation to Melbourne.

Thanks Lesley and Mumof2 putting information for me about whooping cough. The vomitting is from the lap band/food not getting through quick enough before a coughing fit. Hubby is now getting his cold but his is more likely to have been gotten from driving sick passengers around. I haven't been out much to be in contact with people - once a week to do the grocery shopping and I haven't done it this week - hubby did it. Can you get whooping cough even if you have had the jabs for it - think I have had them - may need to check with Queen Bee about that but I don't want to deal with her particularly as I will get a lecture.

The villa in Tassie that we looked at is on the market again. Got an email from DOMAIN to show me the picture and the price has dropped. Hopefully it will be there in a month's time - market is slow there as well as here in Qld.

Going back to bed as it is raining here in brisbane and I am cold - still can't find my winter pj's and Chook I am in my summer ones so bed is the best place to be with this horrid cough and the cold.

Called Queen Bee and had a chat to her - got a belated happy birthday from my dad. She said I sounded better and I needed to take natural yoghurt to not get thrush from the antibiotics. Think I might get some inner health as I hate yoghurt - mainly natural, don't mind some of the flavoured ones but for thrush you have to have natural yoghurt. Sorry guys not something you really need to know about but that was the conversation.

Been trying to get hubby on mobile as he took my court case stuff with him to store at the farm. I am trying to find out where it is going to be put so the paper eating insects don't eat it as it isn't all covered/needs covering but I rang once and something happened to the phone and now it must be off as it is going to voicemail and he doesn't check that/doesn't know how to check it. Must get him to take the phone to the retailer and get them to show him how to use message retrevial.

Take Care All!!!

studying1,

In relation to your question regarding catching whooping cough even if you have been immunised, the answer is YES.

To protect very young babies who are most at risk themselves, it is a good idea for parents and carers, as well as brothers and sisters who are 10 years old or older, to have a booster vaccination. This is because the protective efficacy of the vaccine wears off over time.

My husband and I had the booster vaccine before we started having children, as a precaution, although like anything does not stop you from getting it, only lessens the severity.

Hope you and hubby feel better soon, not much fun being sick, but at least with the wet weather there is no better place than bed.

Yes, you can have whooping cough even after the vacs - my brother and I have both had it, believe me it isn't fun. I think Wesburn is about 2 hours east of Melbourne.
