Why don't people believe you can have a daily migraine???

Migraine, meds and sleep.

Why is it people don't believe I can have a migraine 7 days a week and wonder why I have nanna naps in the afternoon??? To recover from my migraine. I know what a migraine is and how they start for me and what drugs work for me to sleep them off. Yes too much sleep is bad for me but I can't help myself I need my nanna naps some days.

I have been coughing now for three or four days and hubby wanted me to go to the doctor/get a doctor to visit. I didn't want to do it so it didn't happen. Just as I was thinking it could be pnumonia (can't remember how to spell it), hubby said the same thing. I thought the coughing was a result of the band being too tight but think that is not right/applicable to my coughing during the night.

Hubby is in a mood because I wouldn't go to the doctor/get a doctor in. He has gone shopping (I hope for groceries - he wouldn't tell me where he was going except to the shops).

He told me about the wedding and I was the only one not there and the bride was okay about it/said she won't hold it against me. Hubby's mother said the apple cider vinegar and honey helps migraines - already knew that.

Got a load of washing on and I will hang it out inside as soon as it is completed.

M of H and her hubby dropped by and dropped off our wedding photos that I had given them. Not sure if she has seen the proofs from the photographer - will have to call her - I emailed her but will call her and see if she wants any copies of these/seen the proofs.

Take Care All!!!

Hi Mrs Studying,

I believe you probably do suffer from chronic migraines - just as some people have chronic back pain or chronic fatigue syndrome.

Have you ever tried Chiropratic adjustments for the migraines? I only get migraines every few months and they are definately hormonal for me because I always get them the week before my periods are due.

Also, i think a regular massage might help you. Just a nice, gentle aromatherapy massage, nothing too rough.

Migraines affect you so much, especially when they are chronic. You can't really recover properly, so that you can move on with your life.

Take care and thanks for your entries in my diary.

Best wishes
Dolly x

Studying

You need to remember that not everyone has a chronic condition so those that don't experience the daily troubles that someone with a chronic condition experiences will never really understand what you are experience on a daily basis just to get yourself through the day. I may not know w exactly what you are going through on a daily basis but I do know what I go through with my two chronic conditions the depression and the diabetes.

Oh to not have to check my blood sugars 7 times a day and give myself 5 injections a day. my fingers are always sore and i have to keep finding new sites to give myself injection of insulin. Not to mention the daily battle I have with my self to force myself to do what I need to do each day just to get through the day.

As I said Studying I may not know what you are going through but I can relate it to what I have to do each day of my life for the rest of my life just so I don't become one of the one third of diabetics that wil die in the next ten years.

It is a mater of trying to keep what you need to do and what you individually suffer in perspective. I constantly tell my self there are those that are more worse off than me and so what have I got to complain about. It doesn't always work but I do manage ot fol myself sometimes.

hang in there mate it is bad I know and migraines are the pits I know because my wife suffers almost constantly with them as well. I have just had a thought if stress makes your migraines worse then why not try and practice some relaxation techniques as that my help you to relieve the stress you are under and lessen the effect the migraines have on your life.

Think about it studying it may be worth a try.
