Migraine, meds and sleep. Hubby got up and tried to find us somewhere to stay for a wedding at Mt Tamborine on 20-21/6/08 - prices are so expensive so I don't know what we are going to do - any suggestions of places to stay for two nights that aren't around $300 mark??? Even some where at the Gold Coast would be good if you know anywhere. Tried the internet and they are all charging $300 plus for the weekends, even the b and b's.

Rubee, article on ptsd is under news. Sorry for the confusion.

Woke up and had some lunch and had a doona day again and a nanna nap. This is just getting beyond a joke this sleeping during the day.

Hubby went to the bank but didn't bank all my money to Queen Bee - only put in $100 when he was supposed to bank $230 so will have to put more/balance in asap.

Hubby did some grocery shopping but we need some more food so I don't know when we are going to go grocery shopping. Reckons we/he will go tomorrow - cheaper. Not sure I will believe that at all....

Did a load of washing yesterday and hubby folded all the dry washing that had been on the chair for several weeks - he folds so much better than me and can't understand why I don't fold washing - Queen Bee never taught me how to fold my washing.

Take Care All!!!

PS Hubby won't go to Mc's for me - may be lucky and if he goes grocery shopping tomorrow he might get me some Mcs.

Gyps, great list of things you hate, how about a list of things you like - bet that is a great list as well. I can see myself in your hate list but that might be my imagination but somehow I don't think so.

PS Hubby is not happy as the wedding night present has been charged to his credit card and not that of the friends who gave us the gift for the night. It was sorted out with the hotel when we left that it was to be charged to their credit card but somehow it has been charged to ours and now he is on the phone trying to sort it out with the Novotel. Sent at email to my friends about the payment/did they also get charged on their credit card and to let us know what the outcome is - we will pay it if we have to but it will be tight as at the moment money is tight for us.

Cate it is a Friday and Saturday night and that is when the prices are at there most expensive during winter in Tamborine. All because of a wedding that we have to go to. It will be a matter of making calls on the web site I finally found - yay - and seeing what deal we can get. Still think we should call the bride and groom and see if they got any deals with any places for the guests but hubby won't do that.

Mrs Studying...

I am not sure what searches you are doing on the internet for cheap gold coast accommodation but for an exercise in showing someone how to use the internet ... we searched for cheap gold coast accommodation and found several sites... some were about $50 a night... depends on how long you stay and the time of the week... and the time of year... good luck with the search...

not sure about the maccas though I do like a maccas breakfast... maybe you need to wean off them...

take care...

Maybe stay at a pub instead of a motel. HEAPS cheaper!
Or perhaps you could just drive home afterwards if you are that broke! I have done it before.

For the second time can you please refrain from leaving posts on my diary entries.

As you rightly say no one on depnet needs to justify themselves...and I will not in making this request.

Please cease.
