In case you dont know i am loosing my sight (not all gone yet but close) and last week went to the beach for the first time in ages.

I went again this afternoon wiht hubby and two kids and even managed a swim in the waves!

My youngest son was paranoid I would get hurt but hubby was there to tell me over and under the waves, thank god for a little swell this afternoon.

I stayed in about 1/22 hour and it was fun.

I dont think I will get back to surfing but know some people who have lost their sight go buddy surfing, not for me I think.

Anyway all is well!

And another obstacle licked so to speak

Be well

Liz

Keller

Now a previous entry makes sense to me about your sight. No I didn't know you were losing it.

Your day at the beach is inspiring and I am glad hubby was there to help you.

Good to hear your getting to the beach and having some fun! Good for you. You are so strong and such an inspiration.

You asked for the title of the book I got the foreword out of. It is called 'Girls' Night In' and it's written by a few people actually.. To name a few...
- Jessica Adams
- Cecelia Ahern
- Maggie Anderson
- Lisa Armstrong

And the list goes on. From what I can tell there is actually 3 books before this one. 'Girls' Night In 1', 'Girls' Night In 2', 'Big Night Out 3', and there is another also, 'Kids' Night In'.
The whole book is Womens short stories. Haven't got any further into it as yet, but am hoping to soon.

Take care Liz, Stay strong.
