still going well!

I have been back over a week now and things are going well. I have this sense of happiness and joy that has ben lost from me for years and years, since my inital vision loss.
I ran into a former work collegue yesterday and was really amazed how far i had come since i last saw her...which was an awful time in my life ,,,i had had to stop working due to health issues and was terribly distressed. It was great to see her and we shared some laughs and a genuine affction for each other.
Today i had lunch with one of my closest friends adn she just filled me with warmth by saying how much she had missed me. We huggd and again it felt so good, like i had not been feeling anything before.
I am adjusting back to normal life now and even have had my first board meeting ( I was recently appointed to a board of a local organisation) SO this holds some hope fro me in terms of satisfying my intellect and strrategic thinking.
My friends life is all good right now and I am hoping for more of the same and to catch up one day in the near future with you on line
