My mum rang me up this morning and said someone rang me her number from Brazil asking to speak to me. She said he said he apparently met me off the internet. I haven't been living there in over 2 years now so why would anyone want to ring me now. Then she said I was disgusting so I called her the b word and now I feel like a cow.

Dear Christine,
We often say things that we regret later. Most probably it was just a mix up. You can always apologise to your Mum. I am sure your Mum will forgive you.
Love & Support,

Absolutely NOBODY has the right to call you 'disgusting'.

How dare anybody label you in this way.

With love

Determined

Christine

Mums are mums. They always think they are right - hence she who must be obeyed. You did not deserve what she said to you and your reaction would be a normal reaction to what was said. You can say sorry if you feel that would solve the problem or just ignore it and let life go on as normally as possible. Mum had no right to say what she did and you were only protecting yourself and there is nothing wrong with that.

Go Christine!!!
