Another year,another birthday..A New Year to look forward to

Well today marks yet another birthday for me.. How time flies..Feels like it was just yesterday that I was celebrating my last birthday..
This past year has been a really hard year for me as it has been for many other deppies here.. I have had the worst year health wise and it doesn't appear to be getting any better.. The latest is that after having an infection in my breasts,the doctors have now confirmed lumps after an ultrasound and I am now waiting,the very long wait to see the Breast Cancer Specialist on January 3rd.. Best case scenario is that the lumps are just a result of the infection,worst case scenario,well,it think you can figure that one out..
All I can do is keep praying and hope that all is ok and that things might actually go my way for once..
I have come a very long way over the past few months..My anxiety has become much more manageable,not cured,just able to deal with it alot better.. I have had ENDEP added to my already high dose of EFEXOR-XR to assist with the anxiety and after very hard work with my psychologist I have been discharged from weekly therapy.
It has now been 24 weeks since I last self harmed..If you had asked me that question say 12 months ago,I would've said,well perhaps its been 23 hours,let alone 24 WEEKS..I've almost done it!!
I have done alot of the progress on my own but alot of it has been due to the encouragement of my friends,a majority of them from DepNEt..
I could go on forever if I could,so perhaps I should end it here with my wishes and prayers for the New Year.. I pray and hope that 2008 brings good health and happiness to us all here on DepNet-deppies and moderators too,and to all those out there who have been so supportive to me,I thank you with all my heart..You know who you are..
