Most days the darkness wins!
The rollercoaster ride of emotions is all too familiar to me.You would think by this stage in ones 'journey' with depression etc that you would be somewhat more understanding and accepting of the sudden downwards spiral but the more I try,the more I become confused.
I had such a great day on tuesday-the best day in a very long time...(probably since coming back from Chookies in June)...Both Bella and I had the day off,so after my psych appointment, I picked her up and we went on a mystery drive ( I knew where we were going,but she didn't-although she tries to pretend that she guessed)..We arrived at Bondi beach about 45mins later and as we came over the hill,the water glistened in the sunlight (finally a sunny day in gloomy sydney)...The big smile on Bella's face made my day..
We spent the rest of the day enjoying lunch and walking along the beach and soaking up the rays..
Back to Bella's after a great day in the sun..She cooked a lovely dinner and convinced me to stay and have dinner with the family...
A magical day-I really needed it...
But as they say,all good things must to an end...
The darkness came back in full force on wednesday and then on thursday-and hasn't given up..
I will write about that later on tonight-as I don't really have the energy to go through it all now..
