As many of you may have already read,I'm up in Queensland at Chookies house..(driving her insane lol-more so than already lol)
We have had plenty of laughs and stupid moments and I have scared the crap outta her a few times by jumping out of door ways and testing her heart!
Yesterday we went into Innisfail to visit a Crocodile Farm..Chookie being the brave one out of us two,held a baby croc while I poked its feet to see if it would attack lol...
We then walked around to see the big crocs get fed..Again,chookie being brave was happily snapping away on the camera as the keeper threw meat to the crocs..I stood back behind chookie (I'm so brave aren't I)..anyways being the 'cheeky bugger' that I am (according to chookie that is,not me)I poked the back of her leg with my crutches as the croc snapped up his lunch and gave Chookie the fright of her life (well the 1st of many for the fortnight) was hilarious..
But then karma had me-the croc came at the fence and I tell ya,I haven't hopped so fast on the damn crutches in 11wks than I did then.
After being brave with that,Chookie the brave held a snake despite being scared of them-yay for chookie!!!!But then dared me to hold it with her..So we now have a lovely photo of a snake drapped around our necks,our faces showing the fear,and the snakes tail poking into my ear as Chookie so bravely held the head end,which ended up in my face anyways lol..
Today we had a lazy day-still in pjs lol..We baked a choccie cake and made some jelly..Hubby wants this continue even when i go home..lol.. good luck mate!
Tomorrow,another day of sight seeing..We have been very well behaved despite what many may think,we have only had 2 drinks each for the whole time I've been here(and it was last night,think our day with snakes and crocs made us feel like we deserved one or two)
On sunday we went shopping and whilst looking through the toy department in BIG W,I pressed every possible toy that makes noise or moves in one aisle,think Chookie was beginning to wonder what on earth she had got herself into lol...
Anyways,having the time of my life and not wanting the time to end..Might just have to have a talk to the plane people and make sure that the strike continues lol..and be stuck in the bush forever!!!
