TIME to LOVE our BODIES

Hi my dear depnet buddies.

I have been doing well this week and I have kept up my constructive activities the only thing that is bringing me down is the body issues.

I feel unattractive and it's currently the only issue that is not allowing me to move on, It's powerful and my weight has always controlled my life.

But guys I say stuff it! It's time to love our bodies, who cares about what society and MEDIA tell us what to look like. How can anyone expect us to even lose weight or work out when we don't love ourselves and feel so completely cut down.

I am telling my self that yes I have a terrible stomach now because of the stretch marks and from the weight I gained, but hey I have great breasts and I like my eyes and everyone envy my lips. So girls and guys we are beautiful!

I have had enough of my self critical negative words I tell myself over and over. We need to start looking at our selves less critically and realize that we do have great aspects to our bodies too.

Something Carson said on an episode of 'How to look good naked' was "you don't have to be perfect to look pretty"

Damn right! :) I am going to try and really make an effort now to accept the parts I don't like and embrace the parts I do like. Big girls, skinny girls all woman are beautiful!

Woman get it so hard when it comes to looks and enough is enough, we are more than just our bodies and normal woman do not look like the crazy unrealistic models on front of magazines and bill boards.

I am beginning to love myself for who and what I am. I hope all of you can start being kind to yourselves too, just give it a go.

Blue

Carson was on Oprah today with his show and it was great to listen to/learn about bodies/image and how we overestimate our size.

Go Blue!!!

Yay Blue! :-)

I'm a big lady and proud. I've been big all my life and never had trouble attacting men. People who only judge you buy your clothes size are superficial - we wouldn't want to know them anyway!

I say eat, enjoy, love your wobbly bits! :-)

Who wants to be a skeleton covered with skin??

All the more to love i say! As Mika's song goes - Big girls you are beautiful!

Stay gorgeous

Well said blue. When l was 62kg everyone said l was to skinny, so l would were baggy clothes to cover my weight.l hated the fact that people used to comment on my weight regardless of how much you weigh. Then when l went on meds l put on 20kg then people would say god you have put on weight, so you cant win either way. So now l dont give a fu##$$%$$$K What people think ,l am what l am and if you dont like it piddle off.l love people for who they are l don,t care what they look like,if they can make me laugh they have won me . l love that you have written something like this because we do really need to love our bodies , wheather we are male or female. There is no such word as perfect .Good on you well done
