My Cats BOOTS & LOUIE - I LOVE THEM SO MUCH: A TRIBUTE

A page in the diary ""

I've never been in love with another human being and I may never know what it feels like to be in love. Is it true: "Better to have lost in love, than never to have loved at all"
But I do know this: I love my 2 Ragdoll cats more than anything in this world. Thier names are BOOTS & LOUIE and they keep me going and give me hope.
I'm crying right now as I'm writing this when I think of all my pet cats & dogs in the past. It's so sad how life just goes on, but they have left this world. All the cats & dogs that I have touched in my love, where are they now? Life is just to sad, I can't keep on acting as if everything is alright. I feel so sorry for all the beautiful animals that are suffering in this world. My heart aches when I think of them and how much love they give to us, but some human beings can be so cold and ruthless.
BOOTS (13) & LOUIE (1) are 2 special souls which God has given to me to cherish and love.
Please God protect them in this life time.
I can't continue writing...I'm crying to much now...Peace to all and God Bless...I have to go.

I can totally empathise with you... I have a cat called Augustus ... he is a black exotic shorthair... and is so beautiful ... I also have a stray cat visiting i call SkinnyLatte... he is such a pretty boy all ginger tabby... he is sitting at my front door demanding some meat ... i give him biscuits most of the time... I can't afford to feed two cats... I give him cat food Gus won't eat... so I can understand your love of Boots and Louie... Before Gus I had a apricot cat called Bodie... he died about 2 years ago... i have it written in my diary... He was so beautiful... and I miss him and all my other cats... and I had one dog called Zenna anyway ... this is about you... I just wanted you to know you are not alone there are people out there that feel as you do about their animals... and about animals in the wild... it is so heartbreaking to watch the animals suffer at the intrusion of human into their space... I too have a litany of the dead screaming through my brain... pets and family and friends that have passed... and I cry when I think of them...

they are never forgotten as long as you remember them...

take care

Know what you mean about pets - we had dogs when I was growing up/living at home and the parents still have a dog. Very sad when they go but they bring much pleasure to us while they are here. Hope Boots and Louie continue to love you unconditionally.

it is a very shameful and frustrating reality than human beings are capable of having no respect for other animals. it doesn't make much sense to me.

i think you should watch this movie, it's called 'Year of the Dog' and it's about a woman who loves being involved with animals, it's a sad film but it's also life affirming and very funny at times. i think anyone who loves their pets should watch it!

Hey there,
I love your entry! I too have a litle angel called Cindy (you can see pics of her in the Gallery) She is my darling little friend and I love her more than anything. Before her was my Blue Heeler, Milly, who I'd had since she was 6 weeks old. Milly was my best freind ever - and I thought I would never get over losing her when she was put to sleep at 15. I still cry for her sometimes even now after 4 years. My house is full of framed photos of her and Cindy.
I don't knpw about other people but I do believe that there is a place where our beloved pets go when they pass away. It would have to be a beautiful place with meadows and streams and sunshine. Hopefully when we die we'll be reunited with them. I will once again be with Milly, and my childhood pets Sasha, Buffy, Benji and Holly and they will all be well and happy again. You see, animals are so precious, why WOULDN'T there be a place for them?
They deserve it more than a lot of humans do.
