WHEN YOU DOUBT

A page in the diary ""

Are you ever so filled with questions that you feel at times like an unbeliever in Christ? Don't be surprised if you experience these struggles. As followers of Christ, we are in conflict with God's enemy, the devil, the father of lies. We wrestle against him and the rulers of the darkness of this age. Two of the pieces of armour God has provided for us when we are attacked by doubt are truth and the shield of faith. They can quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. As we saturate our minds with God's word, our faith will be strengthened. Then we'll be able to stand when doubts assail us.

The devil is subtle, deceptive and sly
He is clever and tricks us to swallow his lie
But his cunning methods we're sure to discern
By making God's warnings our daily concern

Justify

I really have to admit I don't know how to respond to this entry.

You have the right to believe in god and the devil and no one can take that away from you.

Be strong and don't succome to the devil's thoughts/ideas.

I'm sorta with studying, you have every right to believe in Christianity, God and the Devil. But could you please not talk about your depression in these terms? Like saying people who don't believe in god will go to hell.

Because there may be people on depnet with different religious views from your own and I don't want them to be upset by what you wrote. As they have a right to their beliefs as well.

It's not a good idea to post about religious stuff on here.
