whats the number one thing i've learnt.. im a screw up, i have nothing.. and no one
never trust anyone, not even someone that says there your friend. not even if you've known them for years and years.. not even when they claim that your one of there best friends.
life is screwed people are screwed.. theres no point, time to go back into my shell and not see anyone.
you live life to regret, how i wish i was numb now.
funny how someone claims they love you but completely play you.. im a fool

Hey there det
Been right down this track. The people we so rely on to be there when the going gets tough are usually the ones that aren't up for the journey. Unfortunately for us it doesn't help our depression but feeds it like a frenzy. More self doubt, more insecurities, less trust and so on. We fall from ahigh and we hit the ground hard. But we do pick ourselves up and we do get stronger even though that seems unlikely at this point. We don't live to regret we grow and become better people in the long term.
For me, I know now that my "best friend" wasn't able to cope with me not coping. We are just not in a place to see their vulnerabilities at that time.
Keep your chin up and fight the urge to retreat. Take care & hugz.

Hi Manda

You are not a fool, you are young and learning about ppl and learning about yourself. Don't give others the power to push you into a shell, don't let them dump on you or take you for a toss. Stand up for what you are and be confident in yourself. Easier said than done Manda, eh. You'll learn, painful process, but one in which going forward will lead to freedom. Let the sessions with your psych help you develop your personality and self-confidence. Don't shut ppl out of your life, find plaaces to meet sincere ones.

Take care Manda
Love from Cath
