the side effects of the effexor are slowly fading. i still clench my teeth badly at night but i can live with that. my appetite has gone down alot. so im not eating nearly as much so this could help me lose the weight that i put on with the avanza.

im pretty sure that no one that i know in the community knows about this site - or knows who i am exactly, so i feel relativly safe in letting out a little secret.

yesterday my boyfriend proposed to me! he came over to see me at my place while my mum wasnt there, and gave me a ring that was a family heirloom. its actually a gold wedding band, but its more what it symbolises than anything. i cant even wear it on my ring finger because no one is supposed to know about our news. most people dont even know for sure that we are going out with one-another. so in a couple of weeks we will tell everyone that we are going out. and we will wait about a year before announcing the engagement. i was absolutely over the moon yesterday.

i told my mother that i have a boyfriend, she has met him a couple of times, he even stayed over for dinner last night. i will not tell anyone about the engagement, because everyone will either say its too soon, or think that im pregnant LOL. (im NOT by the way.) this one i have to keep a secret, but i figured that it was safe to let it slip here - seeing as how it is anonymous...

so my life really has taken some weird turns! i would never have guessed anything like this could even happen to me, escpecially not this year!

my boyfriends ex-girlfriend has been quite friendly towards me. eveyone is telling me to watch out because she will have ulterior motives behind her behaviour. im just going to go with the flow on this one.

anyway, i better get going. hopefully i dont get into trouble for announcing my news here - but i really dont see how i can LOL

i hope everyone else is doing well! best wishes to all of you

luv and hugs

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was so excited when my hubby proposed (FINALLY!) It must be killing you not to tell anyone! I wonder if you should re-evaluate that decision - but I am not in your shoes, so I guess I can't judge. Don't mean to offend, but maybe it's something to think about. Any way- I am REALLY happy for you! It is the most wonderful feeling!

I can also totally sympathise with the Effexor side-effects - and I am here to say they wear off completely with time, but I still haven't lost my wieght, mainly because I haven't lost my varocious appetite - so lucky you!! The teeth clenching will stop, too, eventually.

Love and light to you. Enjoy yourself and being in love!

Hi there..............

Congradulations on your announcement.

I am glad you are doing okay on your efflexor, however may i offer you some advice. I was once on this medication and at first i was having the same side effects as you and it slowly faded or so i thought.

It utrned out that i had just adapted to them and 12 months down the trqck became ill.....I don't want to worry you. Just please make sure you are okay with this medication.

Hi Tazzy,

CONGRATULATIONS sweety, that is f'ing AWESOME! :) :) :)
I am sooooooo happy for you (& a little envious). It has been very quick, but hey that's not a criticism. If you're both happy and certain of the decision, I say GO FOR IT. :) You must be beside yourself not being able to tell anyone. I wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut for a minute, let alone a whole year! :)
I still have some side-effects from Efexor - I've been on it for 3 months. That's not meant to scare or worry you either. I think I already told you in your last entry. They aren't major and don't affect my life or anything so I'm not worried about them.
Take care of yourself, and stay happy. :)
Luv, ((hugz)) & smiles
