A page in the diary "Jo's Learning Log"

Well, my motivation and coordination seem to be at an all time low, but other than that I doing ok.

I am SO tired. Unreasonably tired.

Um.. still pretty positive though. I am just plodding through at work- I have about an hours work that I have set as my goal to complete by home time...5 hours from now!! I think I should manage that.

So my motto for the say? "Be kind to yourself..."

Just gonna chill for a while, and work in short bursts.

Hope to catch someone on chat today...

Cheers to all
Jo

........................................................
Diary tip...Try to write down what I am good at.

Oh...

I am intelligent- I always do really well at uni. But somehow, that doesn't seem to depend on effort - I always do well so its not that much of an accomplishment is it? More a fluke.

I used to be good at music. Singing, keyboard/piano, writing...

I don't know. I'm not much. I'm not remarkable. Times like this I look at myself and say "Who the &$%# are you? You sure as hell aren't the me I thought you'd be..."

Hi Jo,
I know about the tired thing, it's just sucks. It's just your mind making your body tell you need to rest and recharge.

As for looking at the possitives in yourself, sometimes they are hard to find, and people telling you otherwise you somehow can't believe them. So i'm not going to say anything nice.

However joking as I was, you are one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I've met. You always have the right thing to say at the right time, and with such intellect. You didn't fluke uni or anything else. YOU got yourself there, YOU made it happen. Dont listen to the Dep. it lies to you and robs you of the otherwise wonderful self worth that you are. As hard as it is, listen to others (only the good things) as people can often see more of you than you can.
I've got your back, as bad as you think you are, I will never belive that. My view is far more precious.

Take care of you.

peace and clarity

Andy

Pleasepleaseplease tell me that you followed up the, "Who the &$%# are you?" with your best De Niro: "Are you talkin' to me? Are you talkin' to ME?"

That'd be extremely remarkable, I reckon!

Hi Jo,
Try playing your keyboard...it will make you relax. When I start to feel panic attacks coming on at home I play the organ. As for singing I sound like a bird with a stone in its throat. I listen to a lot of music though. Have you listenend to Patrizio Buanne? He is wonderful. I have his CD's & 1 DVD. I feel so relaxed after listeneing to him.
