Recovery Program: What have I done for myself?

Hi all,

I really love this recovery program. The little graph I get after those self tests is exceptionally useful to me for monitoring my condition, so a big shout out to the moderators of this site - great feature, thanks a heap.

What have I done for myself this week? Well, I am proud to say I actually managed to fulfill EVERY one of my goals I set at the beginning of the week! Now, three things - here goes...

1. Made my special time with Adam
This was number on eon my agenda, and so Adam and I made sure we spent plenty of time together on the weekend, cause we had such a busy week coming up. We went to Tropfest together, spent some time with his family and spent some time just being together at home. I began the week feeling loved, emotionally fulfilled and like I have the most wonderful person waiting to catch me if I should fall at all.

2. Saw my psych
Finally got to see my psych again, and felt so much better for it afterwards. This man just has the knack for making me feel more settled, in control and at peace. I have a really low dose of valium that I can take now if the anxiety gets too much. He says that there is a low risk of addiction and little to no side effects for the amount I will be using. Now I have the tools to tackle anything life throws at me!

3. Did my training at work
I did it! I did the training, I went to the dinner, I held my own. I actually did really well too- which is a surprise to me because I was only really doing the training with our distributors to make up the numbers! I kicked butt though, and came 2nd in the class!

So a positive week, that has left me totaly knackered.

Love and light to you all
Jo
