sorry to hear you have the shingles they are painful I to have had them. The first time was when i was pregnant with my daughter and it was awful.

Hi Em!

Shingles eh? That is a real blow on top of all the other things that are going on at the moment. I hope they clear up real quick so you can get on with your study!

hey everyone,
thanks all for your reply's. Yeah it's my fourth time i've had shingles so not happy- I think my immune system is shot. Anyways i'm trying to keep going, it's tough but I guess I have the philosophy that everything happens for a reason(even though at times it's hard to figure out why).

Ouch. How's your stress level? I haven't had shingles, but a very close friend got them after suffering the stress of having a still-born baby. She suffered for over a year.

So, I wish you a speedy recovery and easy-to-access areas of concern. I also hope that whatever is causing your stress or immune problems (probably related?) can be resolved.

Sorry to hear about your shingles. What a rotten thing to happen after everything else you have to cope with at the moment. I hope you get better soon, I'll say an extra prayer for you for a speedy recovery. :)
