I went into depression at such a rate that my clinical psych was going to have me assessed. My weight spiralled down by 20kgs within 2 months and I was having panic attacks constantly to the extreme that I ended up in hospital. I was diagnosed with a lump in my right breast spotting disorder on my bowl and a low blood count.
I knew that stress could cause other problems, but until you are affected you do not know what others go through.
Society is slowing changing to understand that depression or mental illness whatever you want to call it is a disease and needs to be taken seriously.
I have always felt that concerns need to cover all ages and both sexes as depression comes in all shapes and sizes.
If only my husband could understand that it is something I am not doing to get attention and that it is controlling me at the moment but I am doing everything possible to change that. It has only been 4 months and there is still a lot to deal with. So many special dates on the calendar that will stir mine and my kids emotions up.
